Third time posting this as Trustpilot are assisting Viva Wallet in removing customer reviews

I have to share my experience with this company as there are numerous 'reviews' on here that gloss over the real picture of this company. Back in August 2019 they pulled our merchant account with no explanation given then advised they are not obliged by their "terms and conditions" to give reason. Another department then subsequently emailed me asking for lab reports for our CBD range "if I wish to continue using their services," which I provided. Almost 200 lab reports, in fact, which took hours. I received no reply for over one week. When I chased it up they sent back a generic response along the lines of the email asking for labs had been sent in error. A huge waste of resources and time for our organisation. I would later learn this is indicative of the internal communication within Viva Wallet. I asked them to record a complaint on numerous occasions subsequent to this incident, however they flat out refused to do so which is a breach of FCA regulations which requires them to log the complaint and to respond in writing within 8 weeks. Even after I advised them of this they still refused to log the complaint. This was in August. Still nothing. Fast forward to December and a colleague known as "Kenneth" called us up from what sounded like a contact center advising Viva Wallet has fixed their issues and can once again support CBD companies. I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt as we are forgiving people. One hour passed on the phone where I was continually assured everything would work he would just have to set me up with a new account. He emailed through lots of information and said I merely had to click on the link and activate the account. He disconnected and gave me his email in order to mail him if I had any issues. Unsurprisingly when I went to activate the account it stated "an account with this company number already exists." I emailed Kenneth for assistance. He still hasn't bothered replying. A really poor experience, but it still wasn't over. Next month a gentleman called Mali called from Viva Wallet, I explained I have tried this on numerous occasions to no avail but yet again he assured me he can get me set back up and things have changed in the CBD space. He called two other teams on around a 90 minute phone call who both advised they can absolutely get us set up with merchant facilities. I reluctantly believed him and low and behold it was all another waste of time. Once an email would not come through, Mali disconnected and advised his email address to iron out any issues. Unsurprisingly the account activation was unsuccessful. I emailed Mali for help, no reply. This organisation has so far pulled our merchant account at great loss to our business both financially and in reputation, refused to log a complaint in breach of FCA regulations, when asked by a customer and wasted hours and hours of our company resources and time. Your company and the communication between your departments is an absolute disgrace. We do not want your nuisance calls. Remove our number from your marketing list immediately and do not call us again. We absolutely do not want to hear from you again. Avoid like the plague. I have been working in financial services for 20 years prior to entering the CBD space and I have never in my life come across an FCA regulated organisation that conducts themselves in such an unprofessional manner. May 2022 Update on this: Ironically Kenneth let it slip that the account had been pulled due to "THC percentages." Interestingly all of our products including those we sold when working with this particular organisation are now Novel foods approved. Yet another viva wallet error that almost destroyed a fledging small business. At best this company is riddled with incompetence, at worst they are complicit in the Novel foods scam and are facilitating accounts for the pharma brands with big budgets while helping them to monopolise thr market by cutting their small business opponents off from the only known CBD merchant in the UK. Shame on TrustPilot for facilitating theur scramble to censor this information this on this platform.

Phenomonal customer service from Swathi!

Phenomonal customer service from Swathi! I applied for an account at 8:50am and I had a call from her at 9am. I was set up and ready to go by around 3pm, even with some technical difficulties on my side I cannot believe how smooth the process and how quick it all was. Excellent telephone skills, product knowledge and a pleasure to talk to if im honest, we even had more than a few laughs! What more could you want? Would recommend to anyone looking for this service!

Amazing experience dealing with Swathi!

Swathi was amazing! Guided me through everything, got me all setup, and kept in touch during the whole process. Helped immensely with the verification process, and even with the integration my ecommerce shop. Highly highly recommend her, and the Viva wallet interface seems great to use too. 5 stars *****

Το VivaWallet Greece / VivaPayments δεν έχει να ζηλέψει τίποτα παραπάνω από ένα αντίστοιχο τραπεζικό λογαριασμό στην Ελλάδα! Αντιθέτως σε πολλές ίδιες υπηρεσίες με τραπεζικούς λογαριασμούς άλλων Ελληνικών τραπεζών και δήθεν Ελληναράδων του τουρισμού, παρέχει πολύ καλύτερες υπηρεσίες τόσο στους επαγγελματίες όσο και στους ιδιώτες, όπως και μηδενικές χρεώσεις σε πολλές άλλες υπηρεσίες. Υπάρχει επίσης η δυνατότητα δανειοδότησης μέσω VivaWallet, εφόσον κανείς έχει επαγγελματικό λογαριασμό VivaWallet. Ενοείται επίσης ότι ο εκάστοτε λογαριασμός VivaWallet διαθέτει τον δικό του ΙΒΑΝ μέσα από τον οποίο μπορούν να γίνουν κινήσεις (εισερχόμενες - εξερχόμενες) και αποκλειστικά εντός SEPA Αrea ανέξοδα, δεν υπάρχουν επίσης πάγιες χρεώσεις μηνιαίες, ή άλλες, για την τήρηση του ηλεκτρονικού λογαριασμού VivaWallet. We use Viva Wallet simply because of…

We use Viva Wallet simply because of their honesty. 1 price. No crazy fees they don’t tell you about. We don’t even have a contract so when it gets quiet I’m not paying for things I’m not using! The terminals are much better than our old ones. The service is perfect, Fergus is our local Viva Wallet guy in Newcastle and he can never do enough for us! One of the best bits is being able to see every transaction even when I’m away on business. The cashback option is crazy as well, they give me money for using their card on things I was already buying!
