Previously a great bank.

Previously a great bank. Up was the first real "neobank" and offered software-centric features that other banks could not compete with. It's now been several years since their launch and while they have added more useful features to their core banking platform, they still only really offer one product and the competition (with substantially broader offerings) are RAPIDLY catching up in terms of software features. Now onto the bad part; over the last year the app (Which is the only way to access Up) has become increasingly unstable, and notifications from it have become both unreliable and delayed. On top of that, their customer service has gone from fantastic, to abysmal bordering on straight up rude. This all seems to have happened since they started getting a lot closer to Bendigo Bank. But this isn't just my experience, I've (unfortunately) referred friends and family to Up over the years and they have all complained to me recently as well about the same experiences. If you want a feature-rich bank, I would strongly recommend looking at the competition first - Commbank is excellent (and has a real website) but does occasionally try and upsell you stuff, Money is also pretty good and has a fantastic app, and 86400 seems quite good as well although I've never used them personally.
