Not a bad account in fairness. Yesterday maintenance was planned for a few hours and I couldn’t use my card all day. Next day rolls over, still can’t use my card. Can’t transfer money to personal account because of salary reasons. My business was really affected by this. I’ll be changing banks.
Really just hoping that leaving a review will get a response from someone who actually has an ounce of understanding. The usual in app responses ooze boredom and that's it they actually respond ... soooo a week now or more that I cant transfer money to my recipients... just bounces back , no there's no issue with connection it just immediately bounces back. I have a business and have had to advice my clients not to send the remainder of invoices or anything to my tide account because I actually have had no reply to say what is going on , other than clear cache blah blah repetitive template response. Honestly I have never seen such bad service, negative feedback and total unacceptable customer services , for a bank !!! Its mad!! Apart from the above I am lost for words and totally bewilded that the employees , 'which are meant to polite at the very least 'are just not interested in their role , they reply as if every customer is a burden as if its the banks money and we customers are just greedy .... thats how every chat leaves you feeling, like as if you're being a problem... aaaaand! If you ask if the advisor is still there ( because the chat suddenly ends) apparently customers should know that by the conversation the advisor is done helping.... they don't have to acknowledge your query is being looked into and they'll be in touch soon.. they just go offline, just like that , just as if they've done you a favour and don't need to reassure you , like standard bank clerks do, you know... why should they, its only your business, nothing important eh?? Absolutely appalling 'bank'.. with a disturbing lack of empathy or care ..*can't reply to your response but I've already put in a complaint, thanks..
I am a Tide Plus member and have been using Tide as my business bank for nearly a year now. As a soletrader it can be hard to thrive in this world only made harder when Tide blocks all your transactions in and out while away on a business trip with a client. I have now lost a huge contract because of this. Numerous in app chat messages which don’t get a response and phone calls all get the same response of “the relevant team will be in touch” I won’t be continuing to bank with Tide for the foreseeable future and would highly recommend anyone to stay away.
I had an issue with some money and asked. My problem was easily solved .
Our money has now been held for 10 days without any meaningful response from Tide. We can only assume Tide is insolvent. We therefore intend to issue a winding up petition.
