Please avoid this bank. They blocked my account on the 7th of May while on holiday with my family in the states. I've spoken to Customer service, complaints, and the fraud team, and nobody seems to have an answer. They refused to tell me why my account has been frozen and had it not been for my family I would have been stuck abroad. One of the worst banks ever!! please stop banking with them and I'll urge you to move your money elsewhere. 3 weeks on and STILL no update. Please move your money NOW!
This is the worst bank ever. I was given incorrect information by its staff which led to me losing thousands of pounds of money as they had told me my money was safe only it was not!! They caused me a huge loss and when I complained they denied it and miracously lost the recording where their staff had given me incorrect information! How could that be when they say they record all communications! They stole my money are corrupt and now I am living with huge loss thousands of pounds of my hard earned money gone all because of Santander! If you don't want your money stolen then do no bank with them at any cost!! Santander if you are reading this be ashamed you ruined my life due to your corrupt banking organisation!
Poor service . Fraud department don’t answer until 2 hours . Complaint have to be made against them to the financial ombudsman.
oh my god the reviews are correct new credit card customer first transaction blocked 4 hours on the phone 48 hours later still blocked this bank is absolutely shocking avoid at all costs
One of the burst service get in this bank branches always. It happen with us many time. better change it now. i suggest to all find another alternative. Santander is wasting of time. They must close the branches if cant help on counters.
Excellent service and the app I have downloaded is so useful and easy to use
I phoned santander went through security etc., asked if the package i had with them included car insurance they put me through to the wrong department and the wrong department put me through to their department that deals with car insurance. I was disgusted to find i had been sent to a car insurance company called Zenith. Zenith acted as though they were my bank until I got suspicious and asked them who they were. He laughingly told me he wasn't Santander but Zenith. I'm disgusted with Santander and I will be closing my account.
