Honestly cannot fault the whole process. Easy application, kept up to date and funds were credited the next working day. The login page is really useful and I like the flexibility of being able to make over payments as well as amendments to DD dates and after 6 months you can apply for further lending. 5 star from me!

Loan was 100% pre approved  lat a good rate. No changes after making the application to the loan amount and interest rate. AA Loan changed and offered terrible rate and lower amount. Transaction was also very quick.

I could not believe how straight forward applying for a loan was. Big banks was giving me lowest rate but when it comes to it the rate was risen to almost 10%. Ratesetter gave me the rate it was advertised. The application went smoothly and a few days later the money was in my bank. Highly recommended.

I am so grateful to RateSetter for (1) being able to pre-approve me via the comparison website I applied through, and (2) not raising the APR on my loan just as I completed the application. I have had sudden last-minute increases to APR (just before I signed - heartwrecker!) with at least three online loan applications even though on every occasion, both Experian and EQUIFAX gave me the highest-possible credit rating, I have 36 years’ employment in local government and have lived at one address for 23 years, with no CCJs ever and no missed payments at all over the last 20 years. Thank you, RateSetter, for bucking that trend, and I intend to stick with you for all future loans as I REALLY don’t like the Smiling Knife-Twisting Shyster approach that certain lenders employ at all. I never want to experience that heart sinking feeling ever again, when you know they have you over a barrel and they know it too, but it’s not about doing mutually-beneficial business with decent Britons with some lenders, but about their shareholders and their employee bonuses. I really rate RateSetter (sorry! ;-))

All I can say is that it was so easy and well laid out, that the whole process was done in a few minutes. Was kept well informed from beginning to end and the loan was in the bank ahead of schedule. Would recommend to family and friends.

After applying for what appeared to a be a fantastic rate from a company with great reviews, I can only say the end to end process of getting funds released leaves a little to be desired. Chased by email after 2 days, then 3 then 4 then 5 then a week. Fund finally arrived today.

Decision in 1-2 days, must be Martian days.
Lets hope the after care is a little better than the induction.

Came across Ratesetter on Money Saving Expert website when looking at ways to fund a car purchase. The rates are a fraction of those charged by finance companies. Checked my eligibility on Money Saving Expert website, followed the link and used the simple online application process. You do need to provided access to personal banking information. My application was processed and approved in 2 working days, even though I am self-employed and it was a bank holiday weekend. Definitely recommend.

Searched for best rates and was offered RateSetter. TBH I hadn't heard of them but saw it was part of Metro bank which put my mind at ease. The application process was so simple and streamlined that I had it completed in minutes. Other banks take note! I had a decision within the hour and money transferred by end of the day. The BEST application I've ever done. highly recommend. 5 stars.

Removed my original review as I thought they were going to look into this for me but no just a generic reply saying they can’t give reasons for refusing an application. Why ask me to contact you then?
Applied through Clearscore’s triple lock guarantee and was 100% pre approved yet my application was declined. 
I didn’t have a decision by the next working day as promised and their reply to this was ‘we sometimes need extra documentation’ I was never asked to provide anything further so this isn’t true.
