We have been using Lightspeed for 8 years now. Service is great if and WHEN needed. Typically it is because I have made some sort of change inadvertently. They integrate with most all of my suppliers, Bicycle retail .

Absolutely terrible. We are beyond frustrated with this company and will be dumping as soon as possible. Service is useless. Drops sales in the middle of transactions, shuts us down during peak business times, our "support" person never returns calls. Do NOT use for merchant services (credit card processing) because this is even worse service if you have a problem.
The whole program is easy to use, and there are hardly any hitches. I can ask questions any time and get feedback quickly. The Promotions section makes it easy to mark down products and set up monthly specials. I enjoy working on Lightspeed.
The software is great for running a restaurant. Unfortunately, the quick service restaurant version is not fully realized, specifically if you are using the kitchen display module. If you ask for a new feature request, even something basic that should be part of the software, they will say no without even considering it. But the worst part of Lightspeed is by far their customer service... It's terrible! The wait time is minimum 30 minutes to speak with someone MINIMUM. I had an appointment with a customer service tech that never called at the set time, I waited for an hour, called their customer service line and I wasn't able to talk to anyone. All I received is an email apologizing. The sale rep literally disappeared after closing the sale and then you're on your own. Good luck. For 1000$+ a year per restaurant, it really doesn't worth it for such a bad customer support. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT. Once you're all set up, it's a pain to change your entire system so avoid signing up in the first place.
Lightspeed has completely revolutionized how we do business. The POS system we were using was built primarily for the food service industry. It was difficult to try and track inventory by size in our retail shop. Lightspeed solved all of that at a more affordable price point!
