Recently joined dozens. Have sent a few small payments across to dozens to check everything is set up correctly. I noticed, that payments in and out of dozens seem to take some time. I know all banks say "up to two hours" but I've never known a payment to actually take that long. Usually when I send funds between my accounts, the money is sent and received instantaneously. Yet with dozens there have been 30 ISH minute delays. Doesn't sound like much, but if it was an emergency and you needed the money immediately for something then it could make life difficult for you. I got in touch via live chat to give them feedback for the same reason and they told me two hours is the industry standard but usually it is much quicker. My dozens card came today and I'm going on holiday tomorrow morning. So I sent £200 over to dozens. This is virtually my only money and I need it for my holiday. I sent it at 11.19am today and it's now 3:45pm and still the money has not arrived in dozens. Multiple live chats with them today and I had to call the sending bank to get the faster payment reference to provide to dozens. The payment has definitely been sent by the sending bank so the issue must be with dozens. I've been told it has been passed to their payment team to look into but they haven't received the money and don't know when I'll receive it and when I'll get an answer. I have multiple accounts with multiple banks and send money between them, as I use different accounts for different things. For example, I have one for bills, one for spending and this dozens was going to be for holiday money. Don't know if my behaviour of sending money back and forth between my own accounts looks like some kind of fraud, but how ever it looks on paper, it's actually perfectly innocent. I'm a full time student, who doesn't have much income so I use each account for certain purposes. Sometimes money in one account gets a bit short so I send some from another of my accounts and so on. In any case, it's £200. If dozens consider £200 from someone's own account to be a red flag, they won't end up with much working capital! Either way, they have left me up the creek without a paddle as I can't get hold of my own money and will now be in financial hardship in a foreign country without access to my own funds - thanks a lot dozens. Plus, they have very limited customer service opening hours and a few times today when I tried to chat it said noone was available and I called and got an answer machine. Every time today I spoke to the same person so it seems like it's just one bloke working on his own. All in all, I feel dozens is not yet well enough prepared for the work they are doing. I send payments back and forth between my own accounts all the time and never had an issue. Been with dozens less than a week and already £200 goes missing. Dozens are a financial service company so sending and receiving payments should be their bread and butter, so it's alarming how much they are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
Awesome app
Awesome app, I use this a a second account and for the unbeatable interest rate on fixed bonds. Never had any issues.
Good for a second account
Good for a second account. I use it for shopping and it works ok. The app is not the easiest to use. Also, I had issues receiving a internal wire from the USA, they said you only accept a minimum amount, maybe you have fixed this now? If not I recommend making this clear in the app.
Easy to use app
Easy to use app. Banking is free. They are usually very quick on solving any issues. The only thing that could change would be able to select your own pin at a cash machine.
Good Banking App
I am generally happy with my Dozens account. I would prefer that a set amount for each account holder was available for bond purchases rather than the reverse auction. I would also like to be able to top up my lottery account from my account but that is not currently possible.
The best challenger bank
Only ever had a good experience from Dozens during the 2 years I have been with them. Response to questions is very quick and I like the 5% bond offerings that you can get via the app. The best challenger bank, which I hope takes customers away from the high street banks that rely on customers not moving to make their profits. Would highly recommend Dozens.
