Clover charged me a "minimum usage fee" of $25 a month (not mentioned by sales on call or obvious on website), then hit me with non-compliant charge fee of $60+ dollars on a $100 customer-receipt (I never had to key in a CC#), then hit me with a $295 cancel fee... DISGUSTED WITH THEM
I have had Clover as my credit card processor for 10 years ( or First Data, whichever financial company hides behind them and to whom it is easy to bounce off your calls when you call " oh , it's not us, it is them! Hold on, I'll transfer you!" ) My small business and I doesn't need customer service often, but when I do, I NEVER get the matter solved in any decent amount of time. It is a minimum of 2 hours on the phone, on hold, passed on to someone else, repeating my info, member ID, accepting and typing one time code security after another. They could keep you on the phone all day long. Awful phone lines from everywhere (US or Philipines or India or who knows) unintelligible speakers, and the run around on and on. Only AT&T beat that level of deliberate abominable customer service! Do yourself a favor: pick another card processor and save yourself a lot of time and aggravation.
Why the hell is there an automatic tip placed when ordering pickup thru their service??? and the google pay method is even more scummy - as soon as I selected the credit card tied to my pay account I got charged for the order. This is a terrible and scummy service and I won't be ordering from any restaurant that uses this company.
Worst customer service around. They couldn't care less about your issues or how their incompetence affects your business. Use any other POS system that allows you to avoid Clover support.
Scam alert! Signed up for 19.95, they sent wrong equipment. Then 3 weeks later get the right POS, and they took 22.95 then a few days later 98.95. I closed account, then they tried to take 89.95 again all in one month!
Clover Health is the Worst company. They are scammers the insurance card says specialist co pay $10 but the provider wants to charge $20 because the provider calls Clover and sss as if the copay is $20 but your card says $10. You call Clover member services and You are informed that The copay is $20 not $10. Stay away from Clover this is not a Honest company
ANY ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE RESOLVED THROUGH CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL TAKE YOU A MINIMUM OF 45 MINUTES. THEIR ONCOMPETENCE IS ON DISPLAY EVERYTIME YOU CALL IN. TRANSFERRED FROM ONE DEPARTMENT TO ANOTHER AND ON HOLD FOR 10+ FOR ANY GIVEN DEPARTMENT INCLUDING YOUR INITIAL CALL WHERE IT TAKES 15 MINUTES FOR SOMEONE TO PICK UP!
