Chime was number one until they close my credit builder card and kept my money
Yes chime was number one when I started getting my direct deposit,, then I only got $20 spot me or overdraft,,, thought it would go up another correct deposit still 20,, I'm patient I was going to wait then I put 75 on my credit builder card they closed it and kept my money,, now I can't pay my electric bill all I can do is pray that they give me my money back before 30 days which they said they would mail me a check. 😡. If they make this right and get me my money back so my lights don't get cut off I might stick with them because I like them before this!!!😡
Unprofessional thieves
I have been a car holder with chime for over two years they are very good at making you believe they are a good company they are truly thieves and scammers and they steal your money as soon as you get a lot of money loaded to your account they freeze and lock your account and cannot tell you why its on lock or hold or how long it take to unlock
Horrible Experience
Terrible experience. First, without asking they take my entire paycheck and transfer it to their credit card, leaving me with zero money for the week, Second, they make it difficult to transfer your money to any other bank, and when you finally get it setup, it takes almost 2 weeks to get your money transferred!!! (It's electronic, you made me jump through all sorts of security hoops and still you make me wait two weeks to use my money!), Third, when you dispute a charge on your card, they take the vendor's side, I waited over a month and never heard back, after I followed up and sent all the documentation to prove the legitimacy of my dispute, I waited another 3 weeks, and still no response, then after I call again, they tell me that it will be until April before I get a response (5 months total to resolve a simple $69 dispute with another fraudulent company -Calm.com). Wow! It is like the company is being run by a bunch of thugs that think we as the consumers are too stupid to see past their crap. Would not recommend them. BTW: When you dispute a charge, I discovered, it is your bank that is the arbiter, meaning Chime is the one that decides whether you get your money back or not. So in other words, Chime is the one screwing with me, they could rule in my favor after receiving the evidence I emailed them, but that is not what they have done. They chose a side and it was not my side, their customer, rather they chose to back up the vendor.
They illegally opened a bank account…
They illegally opened a bank account when I inquired about preapproval of a credit card. I wasn't even interested but figured what harm could it do? I got my answer. Now I'm getting switched for the 4th time to answer as to why they violate FTC laws. After filling everything out, I got a screen saying your new card is coming. What new card? "Download our app now to see W T F we did". So i did to find out and somehow I have an account. They do this for poor, desperate people who will turn a blind eye to them illegally using their information so they can get "spotted" a few bucks. I have cash and credit so I'll keep my info and rights for 20 or 200. If you have had a similar experience, file an official complaint with the federal trade Commission and/or your states attorney general's office
Great online bank
I'm very satisfied with the bank and the features. I was looking for a bank that would help build my credit and came across chime. I'm glad I did because not only does it keep track of my spending but helps build credit. It has features like transferring money between spending account and credit builder,a savings account, online statements and more.there is nothing about this bank I don't like I would definitely recommend using this bank for your banking needs.
