This is for the PRO service. Never got their regular service to work, did not accept my E-mail address.

Terms of Service (their own stated 'policy') only stated that KYC might be required during account creation. Then FAQ says that < 1 BTC equivalent of withdrawal, no ID is required.

However after successful account creation with no KYC requirement, depositing ADA, and trading for BTC, a 0.1 BTC withdrawal was frozen and held hostage for KYC.

This is blatant false advertising and fraud even under their own terms. This is not a legitimate business trying to curate long term customers. If you don't mind KYC you should use Kraken instead. They have KYC up front before deposit and is honest. There are other options for no-KYC. Avoid Changelly at all cost.

I was skeptical at first but changelly.com is legit. I sent them BTC from coinbase wallet and received ETH in Metamask within minutes. If you need to swap BTC for ETH, they are the ones to go to accomplish that in minutes.

I recently sent some digital assets to changelly to have it converted and forgot to send the memo ID (which means it did not go through).
I contacted the support team and they  immediately followed up with me and assured me they will make sure I was refunded the correct amount. 
It took a week which kind of sucked but they were there anytime I had questions regarding the issue. 
Definitely will continue to use them. 
They made me feel like they were really there to make sure my problem was resolved.

That being the only major issue I had (which they took care of) I always use Changelly. Instead of opening several wallets to purchase specific assets, buy a hard/cold wallet and use this exchange. They are the OG's.

So far, I've completed two digital asset exchanges using changelly.com. Both transactions were very quickly executed exactly as I requested. During my first exchange at 11:30 PM, I had a question that was quickly resolved via chat with a live human. I highly recommend this service

I've actually always been happy with Changelly. Everyone charges fees and they too want to get rich with bitcoins.
But this time something was terribly wrong. It says that the transaction ID is there though. But was not sent. Then the order was processed and got my coins 30€ less today. Although my course rose and the alternating Fell. Then they say you can't exactly convert coins into fiat currency.. 
Never let them change the coin themselves if they make mistakes. Always have the same coins transferred back!

I have used changelly a few times now and there have been no problems so far. On my last change (which was a bit higher than usual) my transaction suddenly froze. It asked for a KYC, which of course was no problem. I did the KYC as requested. Then they asked for the source of my tokens - I disclosed that as well and submitted appropriate proof. Then I was asked about other things - I also answered all these questions fully and truthfully, as I have nothing to hide. However, this was 2 days ago. Since then I have not received any response from changelly and my transactions are still frozen. There has also been no response to my reminder so far. I have read about similar reports before, but did not want to believe it. I strongly advise against using this service. If anything changes in my case, I will update my experience report and rating.

I swapped ATOM for DGB and I did not add the memo. Contacted Changelly and although my fault they were able to work with Coinbase and retrieve the swop. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.

Yeah, so I like never leave feedback unless it was a short and simple thing on eBay.  I’m more the type just to click on a few stars and call it a day, but I have to write something on this one. Wow! …what an exceptional customer service experience. 
 First, let me give a little backstory… tried to change up some crypto and forgot to put memo id… 🙄smh.  Called my Exchange and they wasted no time in telling me yeah it’s lost, sorry.  Rep couldn’t even give me a possible next step I could take.  Nothing… just sorry.  I spent about all of 15min trying to accept the fact I just lost all that money… ugh🤦🏻‍♂️.  Anyways, I said to myself hmm, maybe I could just reach out to Changelly and explain the dumb dumb move I just did.  What’s the worse that could happen… they say the same.  Had some hope, I did send it to the address, just without the memo id.  Maybe just maybe they could help.  
 Here comes my favorite part :) … I sent an email to support, super quick response.  Didn’t expect that.  Not talking the automated one, a real response, immediately after automated one… inquiring about problem.  Rep. was pleasant and professional.  Thank you again for that 💫☺️ Really feels comforting when you feel the person genuinely wants to help resolve.  After providing necessary details, they said they will escalate and have resolved within 7 business days.  They did it in 3… Received an email early morning on the 3rd business day. SCAMMED ME $10,000!!! DO NOT USE
When I tried to change BUSD to ETH I selected the ONLY busd that came up on the app. I sent $10,000 to the address they provided and after 30 minutes still didn’t receive it. When I contacted support they told me I’d sent it to BUSD erc-20. I provided them with a screen recording video as well as screenshots to show the ONLY ONE BUSD came up so how can I select a different one??? After going back and forth they told me it’s not recoverable. So I spoke to Binance customer support who told me they can see the funds but only Changelly can contact them to get the money back.

I know they have my money in their wallet and can get it as I’ve been told by Binance but they refuse to. 

Their response to my email was it’s my fault and I won’t get the money back. HOW when it was the ONLY busd option to select on the app and I’ve proven that with screen recordings?!!

ABSOLUTE SCAMMERS!! DO NOT USE THIS APP OR COMPANY. 

Their identities are unknown for a reason. You cannot find who the owner of this app is and the small amount of positive reviews you see are blatantly fake and paid for by them.

Stay away from Changelly because if you submit a transaction that requires KYC verification and you opt-out of the KYC process, they will not refund the crypto you sent them, and it will be forfeited to them.

I submitted an ALGO-to-XMR swap on March 24, 2022 that triggered Changelly's KYC process.  I told Changelly that I did not want to complete the KYC process and asked them to refund me my ALGO.  They told me that they couldn’t refund the ALGO because they had already swapped it into XMR, and that I would need to complete the KYC process for them to release the XMR.  Since I had no intention of completing the KYC process, I presented an alternate solution to Changelly.  I asked them to swap the XMR back into ALGO at the prevailing market rate and to send the ALGO less any fees to the initiating ALGO address.  Their security team refused to do this, and said that I needed to complete the KYC process for a refund.

DO NOT USE CHANGELLY, especially if you do not intend to complete their KYC process as they will not refund your crypto.

UPDATE 3/28/2022: Changelly has not refunded me and claims that the ALGO may be from fraudulent activities.  I do swing trades based on price action.  I had originally swapped my XMR into ALGO on Changelly with no issues when the XMR price spiked against ALGO.  When I went to swap the ALGO back into XMR, they're holding the swap for KYC because they think the ALGO may be connected to fraudulent activities.  Interestingly, the ALGO came from Changelly originally!!!  Therefore, that means that Changelly is disbursing tainted crypto (in this case, ALGO) to customers!!!  I will be writing a separate review now noting that Changelly disburses tainted crypto.  Congrats on digging yourself into a deeper hole Changelly.

Lastly, in Changelly's reply below, they note that KYC/AML is a must for them.  If it's "a must":
1) Then why did you allow my original XMR to ALGO swaps through?  Those would've been more likely to be fraudulent compared to ALGO back into XMR.
2) Why don't you enforce KYC/AML upfront before customers send funds?  You don't, because you use KYC/AML excuses as a reason to steal crypto from legit customers.

How long would it take you guys to conclude your on-going “non-existent" investigation regarding the unreal “fraudulent activity” you guys claim?

Why do you guys hold customer’s funds rather than reject a transaction?

And yes guys, the Hong Kong police has responded; my Lawyer is already doing paperwork on all that was requested. International Law will catch up on Changelly, I promise.

I used changelly to exchange my xrp on coinomi, but i never reaceved any fund back !! Now i am already waiting a really long time. They said that they going to sens it back in the exchange rate of that time. But nothing happend yet !! So now i am going for a next step. I give changelly 7 days to send my xrp like they said back to my account. Otherwise i will send this to the media, and informate my lawyer about this… i hope that I reaceve my xrp soon back

On the 25th of Febraury, I tried to swap 14.615 ETH for USDT (SWAP ID - 3y75nca28bhwy60d) using the in-built swap on Ledger, but it was held by the swap provider - Changelly. There was no warning of KYC prior to the conclusion of the transaction.

I immediately contacted them and was told to perform a KYC which I did, they began to send automated messages and do not want to release my funds. 

Thankfully, I have filed a report with the Hong Kong Police with the case number - Ref#ERC2203131020835 and is now receiving attention. I will keep you updated on how this turns out.

Honesty i don't know where to start, long story short i was a very new user to this app. I started making small conversions at first and they were all successful, however I did make a couple of mistakes which resulted in my transactions getting stuck because I was reusing the same address to send BTC. I had around 16k dollars stuck in two transactions and I was so afraid that I was going to lose my funds. BUT when I contacted the support team with my transactions ID, they helped me right away( 10/5 for customer service experince). I had heard alot about scams and people losing their money trying to buy crypto online but changlly proved them all wrong. They fixed both of my stuck transactions for me within 2 days ( really appreciate it guys). Anyway all I want to say that these are ligit, they are trustworthy, helpful, knowledgeable and on top of all of that they are supportive if you make a mistake. This goes to whoever is going to use this app, trust them if you make a mistake ask for help and be patient they do their best and Honesty it better than any other bank or financial institution that I have dealt with before.


To the changlly team, thank you for creating this service, I cannot say enough good thing about you guys, and I hope, wish and pray that your company is in business for the longest time possible so that I can come and use the service, you guys saved my life by helping me convert and move my funds.
