They switched up how they do advances becaue I was a loyal customer for YEARS and always got at least $200 then all the sudden even though I make more money then I used to I dont qualify ever at all its been months and I never am able to use the app. They always say reacch out to customer service when they see a bad review but twhen you do that they literally tell you oh sorry we cant do anything to fix it some generic response. Im really over it I stuck with them for all this time just to see if eventually it would fix itself but nope I feel like the only way ill ever be approved is to switch my direct deposit to them its a bait and switch sceem just like all the others. Branch is a huge let down after using them for years.
Do not BANK with them. If you need help you cannot call. They don't answer. If something happens like a disputed charge they will actually tell you it was never received until they finally look at it. The message on their phone saying there isn't anyone to help sounds like it was written by a 4th grader
I would highly recommend not using them. They use a 3rd party app for their check deposits instead of incorporating their own into the app. They certainly did not do their due diligence in researching that company. It's called ingo but should be called nogo. I spent 6 hours attempting to use it to deposit a check and i got 7 different error messages which they don't provide explanations of what they mean. When I called Branch it took the rep 2 hours to tell me i violated ingo policy. Now that was wrong. My ingo account was closed and noone knew why. Now 6 hours later the next rep told me i "should deposit my funds into a different bank" i wish i was kidding. Seeing as branch is my primary bank for my employment and bills.
Because of a bonus payment that arrived a few days after my regular paycheck, the Branch system used the lower bonus pay as my regular pay and lowered my advance drastically when I needed it most. Support was very helpful, however could not help me reach a resolution. The development team has a lot of work to do because your functions don't even work as they should - i.e. selecting which paychecks are the correct ones - DOES NOTHING! Undependable at the worst time.
I would seriously consider that if you bank with this company and have eve a small dollar dispute they do not provide good service. Any other bank will complete something like this in 10 days. If your dispute case is ultimately approved, your account will receive credit for the transaction being disputed at the time of approval. This process can sometimes take up to a total of between 45-90 days. We will provide any additional updates to you through this ticket as they are received from our bank.
Im not happy with Branch app at all. I was emailed by them that my bank was no longer supported for an advance. I already had their bank card so i did as the rep said and moved my entire direct deposit to branch. After getting my forst paycheck with them it still doesnt work and their customer service took 4 days to respond and said they didnt have an answer and tier 2 would take it. If theres no phone number they should email customers back quickly. Im very underimpressed so far. Im also worried if i have an issue how to even get ahold of them.
