No help refuse to do as you ask, can't process simple payments, no surprise don't think your money is safe here looking at companies house I wouldn't be surprise if they go in to administration or insolvency very very soon. Check it out for yourself
We're a small business that only invoices 24 customers, twice a year. I've just done it for the first time with ANNA. It is a cumbersome process. Their customer service has been excellent though and have helped with doing things that are not intuitive on the app. There are a good number of small irritations though. A few of our customers part paid and sent two different payments. Both had the invoice number as the reference but ANNA failed to pick this up and allocate it to the invoice. I had to do it manually and that is one of the non-intuitive processes. They offer a web interface, but this is more like a picture of what you need as you can't actually do anything - it all goes through the app. I get what they are trying to do, but it does make doing things troublesome and their AI is far too intent on automating everything. Perhaps if I was a sole trader, working on the fly, with customers that wanted to pay by bank transfer or the payment link, then I'd be happier. My 24 customers though, like to pay by cheque - and ANNA does not accept them at all. A real pain that has been. They don't accept cash either, another irritant. The payment link they add to the invoice works very well, but as soon as someone paid via using it, I got the notification that it's not free and that unless I opted out, they would start to charge me. This is something you tell your customers BEFORE you add it to the invoice. I opted out immediately. In summary, if I had been aware of the issues that I would be experiencing before joining ANNA, then it is likely that I would not have. Now I've been through the pain, we are likely to stay as when it works and you've sorted all the annoying complexities out, ANNA is a good bank. Lastly, they MUST THIS YEAR, sort out becoming part of the account checking programme that is now in place with other banks. I have had so many problems where the sending bank could not verify our account and told our customers that it could be fraud. One bank actually refused to make the payment as they believed that the invoice was fraudulent. This is unacceptable and if they have not sorted this by the next round of demands, we will leave them.
Early days, but do far I am impressed with the system and the AI involved. I do not need anything too sophisticated so I believe it will suit me well.
Opened a business account with them and the service has been excellent. Could use a better interface to be honest but can't complain about the features.
If you are looking for a bank to annoy you and frustrate you, this is the bank for you. If you want a bank to just be a bank literally go anywhere else even trust dodgy Dave with your money it will be in better hands than this incompetent bunch. Only positive reviews are invited which suggests they select who they invite to like them. False review score if they invited everyone to review them then see what their actual score is.... Respose to reply, You failed to answer the simplest of questions and constantly contradicted yourselves as proven in the chat.
