Comment dire sans insulter personne nullissime une carte pro avec des dépenses de 30k€ par mois bloqué à 3800€ ( pour 6mois selon leur dire jamais de problème de payements) j’appelle le service financier qui me répond c’est comme ça et pas autrement voilà madame merci au revoir

I was a big Amex fan. Not any more!

I have always been a big fan of American Express until they recently decided to arbitrarily impose stupid limits on my cards with no notice. I appealed, sending three business bank statements showing a regular income, no additional debt or overdraft, and was still rejected. I have now closed the account,

Fijn bedrijf, altijd behulpzaam.

Kaart aanvraag snel in behandeling genomen, al binnen 4 dagen bericht dat de american express Gold card goed gekeurd was. Vriendelijke medewerker aan de lijn.

Zeer slechte klachtenafhandeling

Klachtenafhandeling is er niet of nauwelijks. Er bestaat geen directe klachtenlijn, er is geen mogelijkheid tot invullen klachtenformulier of communicatie via email, slechts alleen te benaderen door een brief te sturen naar een adres in Belgie! Duur, omslachtig en niet van deze tijd. Ze doen er alles aan om klachten buiten de deur te houden.

American Express Travel is the absolute worst…

American Express platinum used to have a great concierge service which has continually declined in every aspect over time. The calls are always transferred to Manila, the wait time is typically 2 to 3 hour for the worst service possible. Tonight I was informed that the only first class flights available for my dates from DFW to New York happened would be $2000 per person . I went online to American Airlines and found multiple flights for around $500. Either the agents at Amex travel are incompetent or they are deliberately offering the most expensive flights as the only option to get their so called valued customers to pay substantially more than necessary. I have had nothing but terrible experiences repeatedly with Amex travel and will never ever use them again. This was the absolute last time.

Flight tickets purchased ON PLASTIC

Flight tickets purchased for flights in March 2020. Pandemic hit and flight was cancelled by airline. American express told me I was unable to claim for a refund of over £6882.85 and I have been chasing this with Thai airways for 2 + years. Only to find out that the AE staff shouldn't have told me this and that I should have the right to claim for the refund via AE. I have started a section 75 claim and I want to dispute this further by searching for the recording at AE of the call back in March 2020. I have now requested the voice recording of the staff that told me I was not entitled for a refund and having to chase myself from both Thai Airways and American Express myself. I have always been told that there have been NO notes on the system about me contacting AE and that there is NO timeframe as to how long this will take. I will be disputing not only the refund for paying on plastic card but also I will be fighting for compensation for the stress this has caused me since the pandemic. I could have used that money for surviving throughout the pandemic, instead I was lied to by AE. I have requested to speak to whoever they have at the highest level to sort this out and I WANT TO BE COMPENSATED FOR ALL THIS!

A good credit card with a good app

I've been using Amex for about 4 months now. The app has been good to use and the cashback feature is excellent. I'll likely be upgrading my card in the near future to one of their other offers that has higher cashback percentages.
